Dr. George Washington Carver and his is main lab assistant, Dr. Curtis, had a father and son type of relationship. They were that close. So much so, while Carver was still living, he gave Dr. Curtis his Peanut Rubbing Oil formula to sell to the public. He told Dr. Curtis to put his picture on the label and sell the Peanut Rubbing Oil with Dr. Curtis name on it. Carver's Peanut Rubbing Oil was called Curtis Rubbing at one time in history. Elements 4 Nature changed the name back to George Washington Carver Peanut Rubbing Oil. Dr. Austin Curtis passed in 2003.
